Logging a decision
How long does it take to log a decision?
Under a minute. Speak for up to 60 seconds and Reflections writes the title, context, category, difficulty, stress, confidence, emotion, reversibility, energy and a short letter to your future self. You check every field before you save. Typing works too, with no limit on text entries.
Can I speak in my own language?
Yes, in any language; the transcript stays in the language you spoke. The interface is in English and Turkish, and reports can be written in English, Turkish, German, French or Spanish.
Can I change a decision after saving it?
No. The record stays as it was when you made the call, so hindsight cannot rewrite it. You can delete a decision and give a reason.
Is my voice recording stored?
No. The audio is processed in the EU region and deleted right after; Reflections keeps no copy of the recording. Only the transcript is kept.
Does it work offline?
Text entries are saved without a connection and sync when you are back online. Voice entries need a connection.
Check-ins and the Decision Score
What is a check-in?
A scheduled moment to score how a decision turned out, from 1 star (wrong call) to 5 (excellent), with an optional note. Free plans get three: the next day, 6 months and 12 months. Executive adds every month up to month 12, 13 in total.
What if I miss a check-in?
One reminder arrives each day at your Reflection Time, 21:00 by default. A check-in left open closes automatically 30 days after its due date.
How is the Decision Score calculated?
It is the weighted average of your check-in scores for that decision. "Score & Keep Open" keeps the later check-ins; "Score & Close" closes them.
How do I see if I am overconfident?
The calibration chart compares the confidence you recorded with the score the decision later earned. Above +0.5 you are overconfident, below -0.5 cautious, in between well calibrated. Outcome charts open on Executive after 5 scored decisions and 14 days.
Reports
How many reports do I get?
Executive: 26 reports a year, one every two weeks counted from the day you start: 22 biweekly pattern digests, 2 quarterly trend reports, 1 half-yearly behavioral analysis and 1 annual executive profile, plus 2 on-demand reports a month. Free: a basic report every three months from your start, up to 4 a year, once you have 10 decisions in the last 90 days.
How many decisions does a report need?
Biweekly: 6 decisions in 14 days. Quarterly: 15. Half-year: 25. Annual: 40. Below that the report waits until there is enough data.
What is in a report?
A summary, the key numbers, charts, patterns, the uncomfortable truth, recommendations and your commitments. Each report checks whether you followed the previous one's recommendations.
How do you stop the AI from inventing numbers?
All numbers, charts and tables are calculated by the engine before the AI writes, and code checks every AI sentence afterwards: a number that is not in your data, or a cause with no source, is removed. A pattern counts as strong only when it passes a statistical test with at least 10 decisions on each side, and the confidence label of each finding is set from the engine’s evidence level, not by the AI: High for strong evidence, Medium for moderate, Low when the engine found no matching evidence. AI-written text is marked and can contain mistakes.

What does Executive add?
Up to 150 voice entries a month instead of 3, 13 check-ins per decision instead of 3, 26 reports a year with charts (one every two weeks), 2 on-demand reports a month, outcome and Year by Year charts, and the Manager Review PDF.
How does the trial work?
On the web and Android: up to 30 days of Executive, no payment and no card; a deleted and re-created account continues the days of its first trial, and when it ends you are back on Free. On iPhone: the first month is free through the App Store, once per Apple Account.
What is the Manager Review?
On Executive you add your manager's name, a 1 to 5 rating and their assessment, then generate a "Strategic Decision Review" PDF that ends with an HR signature block. Your manager gets no access to your account.
Who can see my decisions?
Only you. Every account is private, and you are never compared with other users.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Export everything as a JSON file at any time. Reset starts over after you type RESET; Delete account removes the account after you type DELETE.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone and iPad from the App Store, Android from Google Play, Windows from the Microsoft Store, and any browser at reflections
Is it for teams?
Reflections is personal: each account is private and there is no team view. For company-wide use, contact us.
